About the unit
Corewell Health outpatient Gastroenterology located at 1179 E Paris Ave Suite 200 in Grand Rapids has an opening for a Procedural Registered Nurse for their Endoscopy team. This resource position will work variable hours as needed based on the needs of the business.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patients responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses monitors detects plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- ACLS Required within 90 days
- 1 year of experience as an RN working in a similar space strongly Preferred
