Use a computer and other technology to support student learning in and out of the students with support (remediation and enrichment) using a variety of with colleagues on curriculum lesson and assessment actively in faculty department and other required professional development goals develop professional development plans and participate in professional development activities that improve teaching practiceCommunicate effectively with students colleagues parents and the to handle a multitude of varying and complex oral and written communication duties and relevant responsibilities as assigned by the high school administration. WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally performed in a school environment during the school day however there may be occasions for afterschool meetings (ex: Back to School Night). Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job the teacher is frequently required to walk stand sit talk and hear. The teacher is regularly required to bend stoop crouch and/or kneel. The teacher is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school :The workday is 7:30 am to 2:40 pm. Work year as per Unit D salary range is based on the Unit D Contract and placement on the salary scale by the principal is determined by relevant work experience licensure and educational level.
