Job Description

Are you ready to lead and innovate in the world of Business Intelligence Join our dynamic team as a BI Project Management Specialist and drive impactful projects across the AC EMEA organization!

This position reports to the BI & Reporting Solutions Manager AC EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan coordinate and monitor the execution of BI projects and related actions within the BI CoE team either independently or in support of the main IT project manager. This includes coordinating the activities of project members developing schedules and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Facilitate coordination activities between project teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments for projects when relevant proposing mitigation actions to address potential issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Organize and lead project meetings to discuss goals progress and challenges. Take minutes and track follow-up actions to maintain project momentum and accountability.
  • Use project management tools to track project performance. Manage comprehensive project documentation including presentations analyses and summaries tailored for various audiences.
  • Collect maintain and keep the AC EMEA projects pipeline up-to-date providing a clear overview of ongoing and upcoming BI initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating project scopes and business area requirements to ensure alignment across AC EMEA and maintain data consistency.
  • Establish rules and perform the valuation and prioritization process for BI projects to optimize resource allocation and maximize impact.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements support the creation of Functional Specifications and ensure that BI solutions meet business objectives.
  • Manage incoming requests from the business assess priorities and organize the workload for the BI Reporting team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of reporting solutions.
  • Work closely with SMEs throughout the entire project scope including consultancy knowledge collection testing validation and feedback gathering.
  • Organize and maintain regular communication channels with the business community regarding available reporting tools projects in progress BI team responsibilities and available training sessions.
  • Support the development of PBI awareness and skills within the AC EMEA organization by assisting in training sessions and tool demonstrations.
  • Design develop and maintain communication tools and platforms (e.g. newsletters dashboards intranet pages) to effectively communicate project progress BI way of working and service desk activities to the business community.
  • Collaborate with service desk teams to streamline processes track service requests and implement improvements aimed at enhancing the quality and responsiveness of BI services provided to the business.
  • Provide support to the entire BI organization for ad hoc activities as needed to ensure operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • University degree in marketing business finance or related fields
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in managing projects from Business Intelligence/Data Analytics area
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to organize and develop detailed work plans
  • Understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with remote locations and work with different levels of management
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting software (Power BI)
  • Good presentation and teamwork skills
  • Professional approach to work strong sense of responsibility
