Job Description:
JOB DUTIES:
Monitors on-going case files which includes: identifying appropriate forms to be completed or received; monitoring case status; issuing and processing warrants and civil suspensions; tracking and maintaining files; and/or performing other related activities.
Processes and prepares casework for court sessions; notates court actions on applicable documents and forms; and/or performs other related activities.
Maintains court calendar; schedules interpreters transportation prosecutors defense council and/or events.
Performs routine administrative support duties which include: scheduling court hearing meetings; labelling exhibits preparing journal entries and preparing other standard documents for court session.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
The above classification responsibilities represent only the key areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the business needs of the department.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; and 2 years of courtroom clerk experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
All educational credits must be granted from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

Federal state and local laws rules and regulations;
Office procedures methods and equipment;
Data entry techniques.

Physical Requirements
Positions in this class work is primarily sedentary although some slight physical effort may be required not to exceed 20 LBS.
