OVERVIEW:
The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides information technology support to over 13000 employees. OIT oversees large scale enterprise applications that support the critical and diverse business needs of the State of Maine and its agencies. OIT is seeking a highly talented individual who can lead technical teams who maintain and support a variety of applications for clients.
ABOUT THE JOB DETAILS:
The Systems Team Leader position is crucial to leading a Technical Team and contracted resources in supporting designing and enhancing software application programs that provide services to the Department of Health and Human Services Maine Centers for Disease Control (MeCDC) Riverview Hospital and Dorothea Dix Hospital.
We are looking for someone with broad experience with different coding languages strong analytical skills great customer service strong experience with process and industry best practices and a commitment to state service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in application system analysis and programming including a minimum of one (1) year in a working supervisor role -OR-
a Bachelors Degree and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in application system analysis including a minimum of one (1) year in a working supervisor role -OR-
a Masters Degree and 1 year of progressively responsible experience in application systems analysis in a working supervisor role.
The selected candidate will be required to pass the required background checks(fingerprinting may be required) as a condition of employment.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions.
