About our role...
We are seeking an experienced Reward & Recognition Specialist to lead the development and implementation of an innovative total reward strategy at our world-leading research institute. Collaborating closely with the Head of Reward & Benefits you will play a pivotal role in aligning our reward framework with the institutes strategic objectives fostering a positive workplace culture and attracting motivating and retaining top scientific and operational talent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping a forward-thinking reward strategy that positions the institute as an employer of choice.
In this role you will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive compensation benefits and recognition programs ensuring they are competitive equitable and aligned with best practices. Bringing your in-depth and hands-on expertise in reward strategy and employee recognition approaches you will conduct thorough analyses of current reward practices benchmark against industry standards and provide expert advice on market trends and legislative compliance. Through your ability to build strong relationships you will collaborate and partner with stakeholders ensuring that our compensation policies support talent acquisition and retention strategies. Additionally you will develop and implement data analytics to assess the effectiveness of reward programs establish key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity where your expertise will be instrumental in promoting the value of reward and recognition programs at all levels ensuring consistency and fairness across the organisation.
You will bring
Previous experience of setting up a Reward function or leading on the implementation of a Reward Strategy in a similar size and fast paced organisation
Experience in implementing best practice reward programmes including developing and delivering effective communications
Extensive experience in selecting and implementing best in class benefits
A proven track record of working as part of a wider HR team to deliver and operationalise reward and benefits activities
Experience in leading complex projects with ability to influence effectively at all levels and coach/develop team members
Strong communication skills including and ability to build effective relationships and develop concise written materials
