Job Description
A confidential and rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive advanced manufacturing programs for a diverse portfolio of electric motors. With over ten major product launches planned across North America in the next 24 months this role is critical to scaling operations and delivering on complex technical programs.
The Mission
As the Head of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering you will lead the launch of next-generation electric motorsfrom small-volume specialized systems to high-volume automated productionacross multiple manufacturing sites. Youll be responsible for meeting aggressive program milestones managing capital investments growing a top-tier team and delivering quality on-budget on-time execution.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on challenge operates with precision and is passionate about building scalable high-impact manufacturing systems.
Key Outcomes
95 % on-time achievement of all New Product Introduction (NPI) milestones
95% budget adherence across $5M in annual capital programs
90% customer satisfaction through each stage of NPI
95% retention rate of key engineering team members
Implementation of repeatable best practices within 6 months to scale efficiently
What You Bring
10 years of experience in electric motor design development and manufacturing
Proven track record launching a variety of motor types (DC AC axial flux brushless induction hairpin etc.) into production
Expertise in managing CAPEX programs production ramp-up and scalable manufacturing systems
Strong team leadership skills with experience mentoring and scaling cross-functional teams
Deep focus on customer satisfaction and quality standards
Advanced problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making
Relentless drive to meet results and exceed expectations
