** The shift for this position will likely be 10:30am - 7:00pm PST (1:30pm 10:00pm EST). Willing and able to work some Holidays & Saturdays. **
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Client Experience the Vetspire Support Specialist supports the Post Go-Live implementation of standard business applications and drives operational productivity through the development of standard operating practices.
The Vetspire Support Specialist will act as an expert in the use of systems and willidentify organizational and industry best practices. The specialist facilitates projectcommunication resolves project issues and provides end-user support for post-go-live implementation projects For Internal Vetspire Support and external commercial client support.
You may work weekends & holidays when needed.
Responsibilities:
Leading with Your Head
Moderate to Advanced knowledge of computers
- Ability to be detail-oriented organized multitask and prioritize jobs
- High level of Vetspire knowledge
- Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered a top-level senior contributor/specialist
- Manages expenses travel and accommodation for travel to practiceswhen required.
- Evaluates client requirements develop systems that support business processes and continuity
- Develops system standard operating practice to drive operational efficiency and consistent business function
- Identifies tracks and resolves barriers for post-implementation projects
Leading with Your Heart
- Ability to work and manage in a team environment
- Familiar with a variety of veterinary industry concepts practices andprocedures and relies on broad experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals
- Works very closely with Vetspire/Thrive Departments on projects that requirea change to the practice management system
- Works very closely with Lead Implementers and their exit audit reportsper implementation. (Commercial and Internal)
Leading With Your Hands
- Proficient in written and verbal communications in English
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Vetspire/Thrive systems and contentas needed
- Supports the success of post-go-live system implementation projects and system training
Key Qualifications:
- Vetspire knowledge is a strong plus
- Prior IT Help Desk / Technical Support experience is preferred
- Experience with API development and integration with a strong preference for GraphQL and other query languages (e.g. REST SQL) is a plus
- Experience with ticketing platforms such as Freshdesk Zendesk and similar systems including configuration workflow automation and integration with other tools is a plus
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Vetspire/Thrive systems and content as needed
- Familiar with a variety of veterinary industry concepts practices and procedures
