Location: Austin TX
Salary: $800 - $1195 per week
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry Level Communications Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their careers in the communications field. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies.
- Create and edit content for newsletters press releases and other promotional materials.
- Manage and update social media platforms with relevant content.
- Support event planning and execution including logistics and promotions.
- Conduct research to identify industry trends and target audience preferences.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
