Job Overview
The Manager Project Engineering manages a team of project engineers overseeing design manufacturing and testing of pumps and related systems for engineered-to-order projects. This position is responsible for working with multiple departments to ensure on-time completion of projects along with development of procedures review and training of staff.
Responsibilities
- Work with departments customers and suppliers to address project requirements.
- Ensure on-time performance of project engineering activities.
- Provide technical oversight to ensure product designs meet project specifications and in compliance with industry regulations.
- Perform project engineering work as required.
- Lead train and support project engineering team
- Domestic and foreign travel to meet with customers and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in machine design for engineered-to-order product
- Experience w/ 3D CAD software SOLIDWORKS required creating models assemblies and drawings
- Advance MS Office Suite
- Skilled in time management prioritizing and managing changing priorities.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Develop talent and share knowledge
Experience & Education
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Required preferred Mechanical
- Register Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- 5 years of overseeing engineering-to-order product
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Pump industry experience strongly preferred
