FOOD SERVICE- Lunchroom Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must meet the health requirements of the state and the Bourbon
County Board of Education.
Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may
find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: School Food Service Director
SUPERVISES: Cooks and Cafeteria Cashiers
JOB GOAL: To ensure a business-like operation of the School Food Service Program while providing attractive and nutritious meals in a clean and pleasant environment.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in preparation of foods for special events as needed; assists at banquets or special District-wide events as required.
- Lunchroom employees may be asked to serve on lunch planning committees.
- Manage coordinates and oversees the day-to-day food services operations at assigned school sites; analyzes effectiveness assures compliance with District State and Federal laws regulations safety and sanitary procedures.
- Lift and or carry food supplies and small equipment. Other physical demands may be required such as moving tables and chairs.
- Plans supervises and participates in serving food cleaning of the kitchen serving area and storage room.
- Other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT: To be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board policy on Evaluation of Administrative Personnel.
