The Program

The Notre Dame Physical Education Department introduces students to the study of human movement as it relates to their health and physical activity. It strives to increase their physical and mental well-being by increasing their knowledge and implementation of healthy lifestyle habits. Students enhance their understanding of the nature and value of physical activity in its many forms including but not limited to participation in sports exercise games dance and careers that promote health wellness and movement.

Responsibilities:

Teach two classes of yoga per semester
Differentiate instruction to support student learning styles and needs

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Certified teacher
Two to three years of teaching experience
Strong understanding of Yoga Six core formats

Terms of Employment:

2025-26academic year
Part-Time position
Position not eligible for employee benefits
