Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Para Certificate or Post-Secondary Education preferred
- Experience in a K-12 education system is preferred
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO:
- Building Principal
JOB GOALS:
Performs the full range of professional duties including collaboration with school personnel. In this role you are supporting the preschool classroom during the lunch and recess time.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide supervision for students in the preschool classroom during lunch and recess times
- Attends work on a prompt and regular basis
- Maintain confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
175 days up to 2 additional days of in-service 177 days. Salary and calendar year to be evaluated in accordance with the Negotiated Agreement between the Iowa City Education Association and the Iowa City Community School District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Districts policy on Evaluation State Statute and any applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
