Job Summary

Responsible for nail treatments manicures pedicures and nail art services. This role will create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in your work area.
Does this position require Patient Care No but it does involve patient interaction at times.
-Essential Functions-Perform a range of nail treatments including manicures pedicures nail shaping cuticle care and nail polishing adhering to established techniques and safety guidelines.
-Offer a variety of nail art designs such as hand-painted nail art nail decals and embellishments to cater to the unique preferences of clients.
-Consult with clients to understand their nail care preferences recommend suitable treatments and address any concerns or special requests.
-Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace sterilizing tools and equipment after each use and following proper hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients.
-Stay updated on the latest nail care products trends and techniques to provide clients with expert advice and recommendations.



Qualifications

EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required and Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Cosmetology required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Aesthetics required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Manicurist/Nail Technician requiredCan this role accept experience in lieu of a degreeNoLicenses and CredentialsCosmetologist Type 1 - Massachusetts - Massachusetts Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering requiredExperienceExperience as a nail technician or in a similar role 2-3 years requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or willingness to train and gain experience on the job. - Knowledge of nail care products techniques and nail art trends. - Creativity and artistic flair in designing nail art. - Strong attention to detail and precision in nail treatments. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients simultaneously.
