Job Summary
- Analyze market trends in the Health and Plastics Recycling sectors understand their business impact and define an effective market entry and expansion strategy
- Identify and prioritize growth verticals such as pharmaceutical processing lab environments hospital vacuum systems chemical recycling mechanical recycling etc.
- Perform portfolio analysis and build a targeted roadmap to prioritize opportunities by revenue and margin potential
- Manage and grow Key Accounts within the Health and Plastics Recycling sectors by facilitating internal and external collaboration ensuring full alignment with customer needs
- Proactively identify and win new Key Accounts while ensuring their sustained development
- Seek and leverage cross-segment synergies across Life and other business units
- Enhance internal teams application knowledge in these markets by providing subject-matter guidance customer insights and training
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute vertical-specific strategies and collaterals
- Represent the company at events exhibitions and conferences relevant to Health and Plastics Recycling providing subject-matter expertise
Responsibilities
- Markets Analysis: Analyze Health (e.g. biopharma lab vacuum hospital gas) and Plastics Recycling applications to identify growth opportunities. Evaluate verticals for resilience regulatory trends and sustainability relevance. Monitor competitors and product gaps to support sales and portfolio strategy. Shape market segmentation and value propositions.
- Key & Strategic Account Management: Support Sales in managing key accounts with performance reviews and innovation planning. Provide insights on applications and markets to shape account strategies. Lead acquisition of new strategic customers and develop strong business cases.
- Product Portfolio Management: Advise Portfolio Leaders on trends applications and competitor positioning. Support new product development and business case creation. Align pricing and value strategies with Sales and Product teams.
- Sales Support: Deliver targeted training and technical support to enhance sales effectiveness. Address capability gaps with tools coaching and tailored materials.
- Marketing: Collaborate with Marketing on messaging campaigns and collaterals. Promote brand visibility through exhibitions digital content and vertical-specific outreach.
- Training & Communication: Create and update training for Health and Plastics Recycling topics. Act as a technical and market expert for internal stakeholders customers and external audiences (e.g. speaking at conferences webinars customer events)
Basic Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering Business or a related technical/commercial field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in market development product management or technical salespreferably within industrial applications such as vacuum compressors or sustainable technologies.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Willing to travel up to 50% across EMEIA
Key Competencies
- Proven track record in managing strategic accounts identifying market opportunities and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to drive initiatives across departments.
- Experience in Health Life Sciences Plastics Recycling or related sustainability-driven sectors is a strong advantage.
- Commercially savvy strategically minded and analytically sharp.
- Excellent communicator confident public speaker and self-driven problem solver.
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
