Were looking for a dynamic student-centered professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Student Clubsa key role supporting student leadership campus engagement and community-building.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Involvement the Assistant Director of Student Clubs plays a vital role in fostering a vibrant co-curricular environment. This position oversees the development and support of Berklees diverse portfolio of student clubsfrom cultural organizations to creative collectives and entrepreneurial ventures. The Assistant Director helps students bring their ideas to life providing guidance on event planning funding travel leadership development and more.

What Youll Do

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all student clubs at Berklee guiding them through the club recognition process budget planning and policy compliance
  • Advise students on event proposals travel logistics marketing materials and advisor selection
  • Coordinate club-related training workshops and leadership development programming
  • Create and maintain manuals web resources assessment tools and semester reports
  • Work with student leaders to shape inclusive engaging campus experiences
  • Collaborate on larger campus life programming efforts as needed

What You Bring

  • A masters degree in Higher Education Student Affairs or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 35 years of professional experience in higher education or student engagement
  • Strong knowledge of student leadership development fiscal planning and program assessment
  • A collaborative spirit excellent communication skills and a creative mindset
  • Experience advising student groups and planning programs that reflect diverse identities perspectives and artistic passions
