As a Corrections Counselor 2 you will have a crucial role in providing support and guidance to inmates who may struggle with behavioral issues or have difficulty adjusting to life in an institutionalized setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group counseling sessions using various techniques to help inmates address their social economic and emotional challenges. Your work will also involve analyzing the best methods for counseling and identifying the underlying causes of disruptive or violent behavior. Ultimately your goal will be to empower and assist inmates in developing a sense of self-worth and responsibility leading to positive changes in their attitudes and behaviors.
