Job Title: IT Field Installation Technician

Location: Doxford (Sunderland) & Surrounding

Salary: 24400 pro-rata

Working Pattern: 30 hour working week Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday Friday (Day Shifts only)

As an Installation Technician youll be part of a supportive hands-on team that plays a vital role in delivering IT solutions to our customers. Whether youre setting up new hardware connecting users to the network or ensuring everything is ready to go your work will help keep businesses running smoothly.

Youll work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. From office moves to new tech rollouts youll be on the front line of IT deliverysupported by experienced colleagues and clear processes. What youll do

  • Unbox install and connect desktop hardware and peripherals at customer sites.
  • Perform basic power-on self-tests and initiate automated builds or scripted configurations (as defined by TRG).
  • Connect network cables from desktop clients to network points.
  • Support desktop moves peripheral maintenance and helpdesk call logging.
  • Maintain accurate records using systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

What youll need

  • A current UK driving licence (essential).
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic IT literacy and numeracy.
  • Awareness of health and safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work varied days with notice.
