We are now seeking Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Musculoskeletal Outpatientsforour hospital located in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in business development prospects for MSK physiotherapy which include cultivating relationships with general practitioners and consultants.
Take part in development and research.
By establishing and putting into practice operating procedures that adhere to best practice standards you may create and deliver the highest quality of service.
Maintain your connections with the broader hospital teams such as those in orthopaedics pain management rheumatology general outpatients etc.
To oversee the in-service training program staff appraisal and staff induction for outpatient physiotherapy specialties.
To directly supervise a Senior OPD employee including performance management clinical monitoring and service development supervision.
To engage in actively and support research and continuing education initiatives that align with the role.
Planning and managing resources to aid in the growth of services.
Oversee marketing and promotional initiatives for MSK physiotherapy.
Requirements
Candidates must be registered with CORU have a degree in physiotherapy and ideally be members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Candidates must have worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for at least six of their eight years of postgraduate experience.
It is preferable to have an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy Sports Medicine Sports Physiotherapy Manual Therapy or a similar field.
