Job Description
A smaller hospital near La Crosse WI is seeking an Inpatient Coder to join their on-site team!
Pay: $22-$33/hr (based on experience)
Inpatient Coder Opportunity:
- Full-time permanent
- Schedule: Day Shift; Monday-Friday with holiday call rotation required
- Setting: On-site
- Responsible for reviewing and completing coding work on a daily basis and completing daily deficiency analysis including obtaining signatures or other missing medical record information
Inpatient Coder Qualifications:
- American Health Information Association (AHIMA) certified Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
- Knowledge of billing and collection procedures (CPT and ICD-10)
- Previous experience as an inpatient coding specialist is preferred
