Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services. The Transport Manager will be responsible for ensuring patient safety maintaining regulatory compliance supervising drivers and continuously improving transport operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise schedule and evaluate NEMT drivers.

  • Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off for all patient transport.

  • Monitor and enforce driver safety protocols and vehicle maintenance.

  • Maintain full compliance with Medicaid and DOT transport guidelines.

  • Handle and resolve parent or caregiver transport-related complaints.

  • Track and report on transport KPIs and operational metrics.

  • Oversee background checks certifications and renewals for all drivers.

  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to coordinate patient schedules.



Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate s or Bachelor s preferred).

  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience in transportation management preferably in healthcare.

  • Knowledge of Medicaid transportation regulations and DOT compliance.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in scheduling software and basic Microsoft Office tools.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Valid driver s license and clean driving record.

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Current, active, CNA license. Current CPR certification Must be familiar with EMR documentation. Pediatric experience preferred. Candidates must be available for variable shifts. Candidates will work in the East Orlando or Longwood location
