Compensation: $55000-$60000
This is a blended role approximately 80% of the time in office and 20% of the time serving in the community.

Working directly in communities bringing hope and healing to youth and families that need it!As part of an integral service team our community-based therapist deliver life changing Mental and Health services to youth and their families referred by schools healthcare providers Family and Children Frist councils county courts and more.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor you will help youth and families overcome challenges working toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in their community! At NYAP youre not only a therapist youre a beacon of guidance and advocacy!
Working at NYAP
Responsibilities
Provides individual group and family mental health therapy case management transportation and other professional services to clients served
Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health medical educational psychological vocational and social services.
Regularly reviews and modifies youth-basedplans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
Establishes and maintains strong relationship with adolescents youth and children as well as assigned foster parents and families of origin.
Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youths primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youths case plan.
Provides safety assessment crisis response and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
LSW or LPC required; LISW LPCC preferred
Experience in providing both individual and family therapypreferred
Experience working in direct service with youth and families preferred.
Experience with TF-CBT preferred
You have good computer and technology skills
Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
