As Head of PR & Brand Communications you will be responsible for shaping and protecting Stepstones brand reputation across four core markets. You will lead the integration of B2B and B2C communications into one high-performing team that delivers strategic visibility business impact and brand trust.
Your work will reach millions of job seekers and thousands of HR decision-makers helping Stepstone become the most trusted career platform in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cohesive PR and Brand Communications strategy aligned with business goals across B2B and B2C audiences
- Position Stepstone as a thought leader in HR technology and the future of work in Germany Austria the UK and Ireland
- Lead and scale a high-performing international team across media relations corporate communications consumer storytelling and executive visibility
- Align closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing Sales Product and Research to ensure consistent messaging and local market relevance
- Drive measurable brand impact by securing high-quality media presence partnerships and thought leadership opportunities supported by data-driven evaluation
Qualifications :
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to define and track clear KPIs for communications impact; fluent in German and English with high cultural awareness and cross-regional communication skills
- 8 years of experience in PR Communications or Brand roles ideally in international multi-market environments (DACH & UK/IE) and across both B2B and B2C audiences
- Proven track record in strategic positioning executive visibility and crisis communication combined with hands-on excellence in media relations and content strategy
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building scaling and developing high-performing cross-functional international teams
- Skilled in managing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Marketing HR Product Sales) with a strong network across media and strategic partners
