Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- 15.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-15 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
Help students in OT Movement & Performance become better independent learners by assisting students in the understanding of course material and answering questions.
This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Help students in OT Movement and Performance become better independent learners by:
- assisting students in understanding course material
- identifying strengths and areas of improvement regarding the content of the coursework and student habits
- answering student questions and guiding them through class assignments
- Other duties as assigned by Tutoring Coordinator
Required Competencies
- Demonstrate good study skills and work habits
Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed in their course
Strong interpersonal and professional communication
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of understanding of course material evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the graduate-level Anatomy and Muscle Function classes
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Successful completion of criminal history records check - Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
