Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

GoodLifes Johnson County Montessori School is seeking a talented Preschool Cook to join our team. If youve worked in a fast-paced kitchen and are ready to apply your culinary skills in a nurturing kid-centered environment wed love to meet you!
The primary responsibility of the Preschool Cook is to prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children (aged 2.5 years - kindergarten) in a Montessori preschool environment.
What Youll Do:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

The primary responsibility of the Preschool Cook is to prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children (aged 2.5 years - kindergarten) in a Montessori preschool environment.
What Youll Do:
- Use your cooking skills to prepare healthy meals and snacks for about 100 children and staff
- Plan nutritious child-friendly menus that accommodate allergies and special diets
- Create an efficient mealtime routine that keeps kids happy and healthy
- Follow portion-control standards and serve meals in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean organized kitchen space
- Order groceries and manage kitchen inventory
Who You Are:
- A passionate cook with restaurant or food service experience
- Able to meet licensing standards and successfully pass criminal and motor vehicle background screening
- Ready for steady hours weekends off and a more predictable schedule
- Organized and efficient with strong multitasking skills
- Friendly team-oriented and professional
