What you will do
Johnson Controls ACVS (Access Control Video Surveillance) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Development Manager to oversee multiple cloud development teams and play a key role in leading our overall cloud delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in software engineering strong knowledge of cloud technologies and a proven track record in team ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Westford MA office but we may consider remote for the right person!
How you will do it
Lead multiple teams of software engineers in the design development and maintenance of cloud-based applications.
Collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to define and prioritize the teams objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement innovation and quality.
Mentor and develop team members providing career guidance and professional growth opportunities.
Ensure adherence to best practices for software development and cloud operations.
What you will need
Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in building scalable cloud-native applications using C# and .NET Core.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Proven experience with cloud technologies such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and technologies.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Understand cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
