Job Description
- Reporting to the Custodian Leadership and performing the assigned duties.
- Clean sanitize and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
- Dust polish and wipe furniture.
- Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.
- Help when setting facilities for meetings events or classrooms.
- Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to maintain safety
- Secure building and doors when they are not in use.
- Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace
- Must be able to perform task such as moving carrying and storing items
- Must be able to walk stand kneel reach etc. as required for cleaning
- Must be able to climb ladders to clean blinds and windows at a height of 25.
- Must be able to run a floor buffer
- Must be able to mow lawn
- Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
- Must be able to work with a team
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- $18.57 per hour. An additional $8.10 per hour for Health and Welfare (up to 40 hours per week to be used for benefits)
- This is a union position. Pay and benefits are dictated by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- 7AM - 1:30PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
