Bill of Material (BOM) specialist is responsible for creation and maintenance of manufacturing bill of material and related data / transactions necessary to support production engineering and purchasing within the ERP system. Senior Bill of Material Specialist is responsible for supporting new item creation and ensuring the Bill of Material is accurate. This includes creating processing maintaining and updating the ERP (OPSYS) based Bill of Material communicating between multiple departments regarding BOMs and identifying / resolving issues related to BOM. Primary transactions include but are not limited to assigning serial numbers ECO numbers to new orders inventory transactions closing out orders creating backorders developing and maintaining Configured product Structures.
