The Order Analyst gathers cleans and analyzes all incoming customer POs working in sync with our cross-function teams (Sales Engineering Purchasing Master Scheduler Operations Accounting and Quality team). They gather provide information and identify needed documentation that supports our internal requirements and meets the customers requirements. They process the order based on their analysis or pass it on to their peers to be processed. The Order Analyst manages the customer portfolio alongside the sales team anything relating to the customers including inventory.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Review organize and prioritize incoming orders to be analyzed and initiate correspondences with customers and our internal team(s).
- Keep our system clean by removing duplicates errors and outliers
- Order analysts design and create job traveler structure and special notes in job travelers including deciding what information to share and include on job travelers to best serve the purpose for the order to be processed and executed properly by our internal teams.
- Identify/initiate price checking/requoting process as per our quoting process with Sales.
- Identify patterns and trends in customer orders to answer specific questions.
- Prioritize workloads and identify critical metrics and KPIs
- Move jobs through the process from initiation (orders received) to completion (orders shipped).
- Communicate their findings through visualizations reports and presentations.
- Communicate with our internal team and with customers as necessary to support the customers order requirements.
- Research and resolve issues or problems as needed.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Able to evaluate situations and make appropriate resolutions.

Necessary Skills:
- Proficient MS office such as Excel and Words
- Proficient with Google sheet
- Strong data entry skills with high Accuracy and Speed
- Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Must be able to frame questions gather data and make connections with your findings.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to present insights on customer orders address inquiries about the order/customers and feedback and able to tell a story.
- Must be well organized and able to communicate well with a team of people while multi-tasking
- Problem-Solving Skills: Must be able to examine data and facts to draw conclusions and find solutions. Come up with ideas and thoughts that can lead to creative solutions. Think outside the box to come up with new approaches and strategies. Send and receive information with others amicably while yielding the result that you desire that benefits the intended goal of the organization. Must know how to evaluate and select the best options implement the solutions and measure the result.

Education and/or Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent will be considered but a college degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in customer service data entry or similar role.
