The opportunity
The Office of Diversity Programs offers transportation to SNHU students. We offer three types of shuttle services:
The Off Campus Shuttle: During the school year this shuttle runs on Saturdays from 12-8pm and transports student to the Target Plaza in Hooksett (Khols Five Below Dollar Store Great Clips) Market Basket and Walmart. During the summer the shuttle runs on Thursday afternoons from 5-8pm
First Friday Shuttle: Runs on the first Friday of every month from 6-10pm and transports students to The Mall of New Hampshire Chunkys Movie Theater/Remix and Burlington. (Only during the school year)
Airport Shuttle: This service is for students that fly into Logan Airport or Manchester Airport and is offered by reservation at the start of the fall and spring semester.
In this position you will be expected to operate shuttle vehicles (mini-van/standard sized SUV) in a safe and efficient manner maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to passengers. Shuttle drivers are able to sign up for shifts based on their availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Follow pre-planned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle
- Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle and complete driver inspection logs
- Report any vehicle malfunctions maintenance needs incidents to your supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and assist with loading/unloading as needed
- Complete student passenger log for data collection and for communicating delays/changes to the schedule
- Participate in initial training and ongoing meetings (monthly) as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a SNHU degree program
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Valid drivers license with at least two years of driving experience
- Clean driving record (free of major violations or substantial accidents)
- Ability to become an SNHU approved driver with includes a brief driver training and quiz and a review of your driving record)
- Comfortable operating a 7 passenger mini-van in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent and enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate program at SNHU
- Positive standing with Community Standards and Academics

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills qualifications experience and internal equity in addition to relevant business considerations.Employment Type
