Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Control Center & Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa Italy.

Accountabilities:
- Help desk activities for remote and centralized Maintenance activities
- Guarantee corrective and preventive maintenance task starting performance and closing including associated logistics and spares activities
- Monitoring and analysis of Reliability & Maintainability figures and operational performance of in- service equipment support trouble shooting and fault founding activities
- Updating and maintaining as maintained SW & HW Configuration
- Reporting activities
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Bachelors Degree in technical area or equivalent technical background
- From 0 up to 3 years Experience in maintenance activities or equivalent
- Testing & Fault finding
- Incident/accident investigation
- Knowledge of technologies
- Maintenance
- Railway Safety Rules & Regulations
- Statistical analysis and data management
- Use of maintenance tools
- knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;
- knowledge HW infrastructures (Server Storage and Blade);
- knowledge of virtualized environments;
- knowledge of network infrastructures;
- knowledge of the English language;
- troubleshooting ability.
The maintenance activity is provided 24 x 7 and the technicians are organized in shifts.
Education/Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in technical area or Equivalent Technical Background.
Languages:
Italian mother tongue. Fluent in English.
