Associate Fire Engineer London
Vertical Recruitment are working with one of the industrys most sort-after Fire Engineering Consultancies based in London with an immediate need for a Principal/Associate Fire Engineer. The company has a proven track record of delivering advanced Fire Engineering services on a wide range of high-profile projects both in the UK and internationally. This excellent opportunity is due to sustained growth within the business and delivers a clear roadmap for career progression.
Candidates must have the following experience:
Over 8 years of relevant experience within Fire Engineering.
Degree Qualified.
A full member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (CEng MIFireE) would be desirable.
Developing expertise in delivering fire safety engineering solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment with solid experience in developing fire strategies undertaking engineering analysis and applying performance-based designs
Ability to effectively guide direct delegate discipline and motivate employees.
Familiar with applicable codes standards and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership planning and practical solution skills.
Knowledge of CFD modelling.
Your role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Excellent report-writing skills.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Demonstrable relevant hands-on professional experience within fire engineering design and Significant experience of applying fire engineering in the design of buildings.
Project experience within the commercial residential education and healthcare markets is also advantageous.
Operational/financial accountability.
Knowledge of the UK market and approvals process.
A solid understanding of international fire engineering principles and standards including NFPA and interaction with insurance companies would be advantages.
Ability to effectively manage resources to deliver project responsibilities on time and to expectations
