POSITION SUMMARY

Leisure Associate

The impact youll make

What youll do

  • Provide general club orientation to guests upon arrival such as the location and use of locker rooms gym and pool
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest and member with a smile eye contact and a friendly welcome using their name when possible
  • Carry out regular Health & Safety checks pool testing sauna and steam room checks
  • Process new members sign ups
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation gym locker rooms poolside sauna and steam room
  • Dispose of rubbish and dirty linens in the correct area
  • Clean and stock supplies and amenities in the locker rooms
  • Report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager support with first aid if required
  • Monitor the pool area and ensure users are safe and adhering to rules
  • Anticipate and address guests service needs

  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
  • A pool plant pool lifeguard and or first aid qualification are desirable although we support your training to obtain these qualifications
  • An interest in the fitness industry
