Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading machines and attachments
- Display/store equipment and attachments in designated areas keeping areas neat and orderly for a professional look and easy access
- Initiates accurate and timely delivery and receiving reports
- Ensure pictures of equipment are taken and accurately stored on company shared drive
- Perform visual quality control inspections prior to delivery
- Notifies management of any damages found after rental equipment has been returned
- Support salesmen and managers locating machines and attachments for their specific customer sales needs
- Maintains company grounds and facilities in a clean and orderly fashion
- Stage attachments for internal shuttle transfers
- Prepare Movement Authorizations (MA) for equipment and attachments as necessary
- Plan arrange and schedule lowboy moves including proper permits to pick-up and deliver CEC and customer equipment as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prefer previous heavy equipment knowledge and exposure.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to become proficient at computer technology skills including ability to utilize company authorized software.
- Must have organization skills.
- Ability to use some hand tools and special lifting tools.
Physical Requirements
- Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities
- Self-motivated and detail oriented work with minimum supervision
- Stand/walk 8-10 hours a day and or sit 1-2 hours a day.
- Ability to lift to 100 lbs.
- Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping pushing pulling and fine manipulation.
- Must be able to occasionally bend squat and climb including the ability to ascend and descend ladders.
- Must use feet for repetitive movement when operating equipment controls.
- Must have agility and balance to safely climb on all machines.
