- Salary will be based on level of experience and skillset within the salary range provided below: $65000 $75000 base salary

What youll be doing:
Perform various journal entries for period-end close
Play a vital role in the period-end close process
Be our fixed asset expert
Prepare periodic balance sheet account reconciliations
Handle our prepaid expense accounts
Reconcile multiple bank accounts
Update daily cash sheets with banking activity
Manage sales tax payments and filings
Work with the team to post daily sales reports and weekly inventory and payroll entries
Support the Controller and Accounting Manager with the annual audit
Special projects as assigned by the Controller or the Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
2 years of full cycle accounting experience staff level or higher
General understanding of GAAP
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal direction
A proactive self-motivated person who thrives in a startup environment
