Our newly formed Aging Research Group is at the forefront of this groundbreaking initiative aiming to develop innovative therapeutics that not only add years to life but life to years. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our newly formed dynamic team.

As a key member of our compact yet growing group youll play a pivotal role in developing models for elucidating mechanism of action and drug discovery. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with CROs to design and develop in vivo models for elucidation of aging biology

• Design develop and optimize cell-based assays to validate mouse models

• Assist in management of CRO activities for in vivo efficacy studies

• Stay current with the latest developments in aging biology and translate new findings into actionable research strategies

• Present findings to both internal teams and external collaborators/conferences

• Contribute to patent applications and scientific publications

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with 1-4 years post-graduate experience or MS in a relevant field with 3-5 years post-graduate experience or BS in a relevant field with more than 5 years post-graduate experience

• Demonstrable experience working with CROs to develop assays and/or mouse models with delivery of high-quality data

• Extensive experience in designing executing and interpreting in vivo and cell-based assays

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships in a small team setting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven track record of scientific publications and/or patents in relevant fields

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Strong background in aging biology and deep familiarity with key pathways and mechanisms involved in the aging process

• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Adaptable and comfortable with changing priorities in a fast-paced research environment

• Familiarity with in vivo models of longevity and healthspan
