Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- The staff of CCHS is committed to teaching students the values of scholarship respect honesty courage and balance in a collaborative technology-infused inclusive family-like environment.
- The technology coordinator will specifically be responsible for the following:
- Oversight and maintenance/troubleshooting of technological devices such as computers iPads Chromebooks Smart Boards
- Setup of all technology used for assemblies & public events held at each site
- Maintenance of academic data for scholar evaluation by the academic leadership using software programs used schoolwide
- Maintenance of Google education platforms i.e. Google Classroom etc.
- Oversight of the technical aspects of annual scholar assessments
- Serves on the Challenge Technology Committee
- Other duties as assigned
SELECTION CRITERIA
- The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience using computers and other technologies for instructional purposes
- Familiarity with Google Classroom and/or Apple Cloud domains and applications is desirable.
- Evidence of commitment to continuous professional growth
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with colleagues parents students industry partners and the community
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and certification are required; a Masters degree preferred
- Technology certified
- Highly motivated to teach students from underserved areas and devoted to closing the achievement gap
- Working in an urban school setting preferred
- Strong teamwork ethic
