Job Summary:

The Director Europe Wholesale will drive the growth and implementation of wholesale and marketplace strategies for Ruggables UK & Europe business. The ideal candidate loves to build relationships has strong commercial acumen and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for managing key retail partnerships developing new wholesale channels expanding marketplace presence negotiating commercial agreements and delivering exceptional results across the Europe region. Reporting directly to the General Manager and VP of Europe this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced wholesale professional to build a function and make significant impact as Ruggable continues to expand across UK & Europe.

What Youll Do:

Strategic Leadership & Market Development

  • Develop and execute the expansion strategy for Ruggable across traditional wholesale channels (in-store and dropship) and marketplace platforms (e.g. Amazon Zalando)
  • Drive impactful go-to-market product and pricing strategies tailored to our partners that are aligned with broader merchandising strategy
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across major retailers and potential distributors throughout the Europe market
  • Stay current with retail and home dcor industry trends making strategic recommendations to strengthen Ruggables market position

Commercial Management

  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with retailers and distributors ensuring all contracts are up-to-date compliant and mutually beneficial
  • Analyze customer profitability data to identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that fuel commercial success
  • Own and deliver on key performance metrics including revenue gross profit share of shelf and new channel development
  • Monitor and analyze sell-in and sell-out data to identify trends opportunities and challenges providing regular insights to senior management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to oversee the onboarding and fulfillment of wholesale accounts ensuring seamless integration and exceptional service delivery

What Youll Need to Have:

Required:

  • Passion for retail wholesale and the home goods industry
  • 5 - 7 years of experience managing retail/wholesale relationships in Consumer Goods/Home Dcor
  • Results-driven with proven track record of increasing sales and market share in the UK and Europe markets
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen
  • Detail-oriented well-organized excellent time management proactive
  • Enthusiastic team player with the flexibility to prioritize multi-task and switch tasks fluidly
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace products and data analysis capabilities
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Experience within the home dcor or floor coverings industry
  • Experience managing distributors in UK & Europe markets (particularly France Germany and the Nordics)
  • Experience with marketplace management (e.g. Amazon Zalando)
  • Proven success in new business development and channel expansion
  • Experience with wholesale analytics tools and CRM systems
  • Fluency in French or German

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid schedule (London-based office); open to strong candidates in Europe (Amsterdam)
