Job Description
Civil Engineer Shape the Future with the @one Alliance
Location: Hybrid Peterborough
Join the @one Alliance a collaboration of eight industry-leading companies (Anglian Water Balfour Beatty Barhale Binnies MMB MWH Treatment Skanska and SWECO) delivering over half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme. With AMP8 ahead were gearing up for our biggest challenge yetand were looking for innovative talented Civil Engineers to help us drive change in the East of England.
What youll do
Design civil engineering solutions for water and wastewater projects including pipelines structures and nature-based solutions.
Produce designs calculations and specifications collaborating with CAD technicians for 3D models and 2D drawings.
Progress projects from feasibility to construction ensuring delivery meets standards budget and timelines.
Conduct site visits for asset assessments feasibility studies and survey data collection.
Promote health and safety by identifying and eliminating design hazards under CDM Regulations.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams senior engineers contractors and suppliers.
Enhance project sustainability innovation and digital approaches.
Support the development of Standard Products and perform technical reviews.
What were looking for
HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in civil design preferably in water or wastewater projects.
Proficiency with British Standards Eurocodes MS Office and design software.
Ability to interpret ground investigation reports for design solutions.
Strong communication report-writing and data analysis skills.
Passion for problem-solving innovation and driving positive change.
