Responsibilities
YourRole:
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with strong AWS cloud expertise to join our team. The role involves ensuring quality and reliability of cloud-native applications built with React frontend and Python backend deployed on AWS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based test automation strategies for applications running on AWS
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud services and microservices
- Develop and execute test cases for AWS-hosted applications and services
- Perform end-to-end testing of cloud-native applications
- Test AWS service integrations (S3 Lambda EC2 RDS etc.)
- Monitor and test cloud performance scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Ensure security compliance in testing processes
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS services and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in AWS testing tools and frameworks
- Experience with cloud automation tools (AWS CloudFormation Terraform)
- Knowledge of container orchestration (ECS EKS)
- Experience with serverless testing (AWS Lambda)
- Experience with Python testing frameworks (pytest unittest)
- Experience with React testing libraries (jest react-testing-library)
- Knowledge of infrastructure testing tools
Cloud-Specific Knowledge:
- AWS Certified Developer/Solutions Architect certification (preferred)
- Experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and logging
- Understanding of cloud security testing
- Knowledge of AWS CI/CD services (CodePipeline CodeBuild)
- Experience with cloud cost optimization testing
- Familiarity with cloud compliance and governance
Testing Expertise:
- Experience with cloud-native application testing
- Knowledge of microservices testing
- Understanding of distributed systems testing
- Experience with performance testing in cloud environments
- Security testing in cloud environments
- Load and stress testing of cloud applications
- Knowledge of cross-browser testing
Qualifications
About You
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 3 years of software testing experience
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles
- Experience with agile methodologies in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multiple AWS certifications
- Experience with multi-cloud testing
- Knowledge of cloud disaster recovery testing
- Experience with cloud migration testing
