DescriptionExciting Coaching Opportunity for our First Boys and First Girls Teams. Start date Monday 1 September.
Lead coach of program including support and assistance for the staff member in charge in the delivery of the Carey Co-Curricular Sports Program in 2025!
The Average Day:
- Lead and assist our coaches with drills warm-ups and practice matches. Bring your energy and love for Badminton to inspire our players!
- Set up equipment support with logistics and ensure everything runs smoothly at scheduled fixtures.
- Participate in the Carey community promoting sport and encouraging new players to join.
- Weekly training sessions 3.00pm - 5.00pm on Tuesday Wednesday and/or Thursday during term time.
- Saturday matches 8.00am - 12.00pm during term time.
The Person:
To be successful in this position you will have:
- A love for the sport and a good understanding of the game.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with student athlete players (at a high level) coaches and volunteers.
- Bring energy positivity and a can-do spirit to every task.
- Willingness to work on weekends as needed.
A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
