Job Description
Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Imagery Scientist (Spectral)- to join our team in Springfield VA.
Our ideal candidate will be able to support creation of hyperspectral non-literal spectral processing and analytic methods for repeatable use to add insight to formal intelligence reporting. Exploit review and identify automated spectral detections of various materials. Support verification and validation efforts for tools techniques and processes as needed. Create GEOINT products identifying materials of interest with associated uncertainty statements using non-literal spectral exploitation techniques. Develop and maintain documentation for knowledge sharing. Develop and progress computer vision workflows that improve efficiency of GEOINT analysis.
Basic Requirements
Bachelors Degree in image science remote sensing earth science etc. and 3 years image processing & scientific analysis of spectral data (including phenomenology correction sensor design principles ENVI and/or ERDAS Imagine civil & commercial sources). Experience.
IDL/Java/MATLAB/Python/R.
Desired
Masters Degree in related field.
Proficiency developing & delivering course materials (live & recorded).
Tool/software development. Chemistry atmospheric science GIS (ArcGIS).
Amazon C2S PKIs.
Manmade lights in optics/remote sensing contexts.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89700.00 - $162150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
