Job Description

VOSS Automotive a leading global supplier to on-highway and off-road OEMs in the design and manufacture of Diesel Exhaust Fluid Lines Coolant Lines Air Suspension Lines and Fittings Fuel Lines and Fittings and Quick Connect and Accessories is expanding its workforce and has the following position open at its North American Headquarters.

Reports to:Controlling and Finance Manager & Plant Manager

Job Overview:
The KPI and Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering analyzing and reporting critical plant performance data focusing specifically on key performance indicators (KPIs). This includes monitoring machine hour rates cycle times set-up times and conducting comparative analysis of standard costs against actual costs across various work centers. The position aims to identify performance gaps efficiency opportunities and support data-driven decision-making processes to improve productivity and cost management.

Job Duties:

  • Collect compile and validate data from production operations ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Regularly update and maintain databases containing plant KPIs and financial performance indicators.
  • Monitor and analyze key plant metrics including:
    • Machine hour rates- track machine utilization and performance.
    • Cycle times- evaluate actual versus planned cycle times to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Set-up times- assess setup durations and highlight deviations from standard
  • Generate daily weekly and monthly KPI reports for management review.
  • Conduct comparative analyses between standard costs and actual incurred costs at each work center.
  • Identify significant cost variances and investigate root causes.
  • Provide detailed cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to implement improvement actions based on KPI analyses.
  • Develop clear visualizations (charts dashboards etc.) of KPI data.
  • Clearly communicate analytical findings to management and operational teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing or similar)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production analysis manufacturing finance or similar roles preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Experience in ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing methodologies.
  • intermediate and above English and Spanish language skills.
