We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator with a strong background in clinical research to support the Division of Quality of Life and Palliative Carewithin the Oncology Department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating and managing research programs ensuring that our clinical/research program initiatives run smoothly and efficiently.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating program management activities by performing tasks related to data tracking analysis and implementation of results that meet the goals/objectives of the Department of Oncology Division of Quality of Life and Palliative Care.
The ideal candidate will engage with Divisional leadership and faculty to elevate the divisions clinical academic and educational program including dedicated program coordination to support and/or enhance the establishment of multi-investigator collaborations (internal and external) quality improvement programs and educational initiatives to further accelerate innovative ideas and programmatic growth and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
Administer one or more programs or projects.
Define program or project requirements identify interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers and coordinate to receive their input.
Develop communications regarding the program or project; Develop project plans and/or programmatic process.
Develop and track metrics provide complex data analysis & interpretation and develop program-related reports.
Make recommendations for program or process improvements by providing inputs for systemic changes to program or project management processes for better planning scope management and risk prevention.
Support the design and implementation of policies processes and procedures.
Develop process for execution of program initiatives.
Engage with program management teams internally and vendors externally for coordination.
May mentor less experienced team members.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum requirement: 3 years of experience in program management delivery.
Significant experience working with project planning tools (e.g. MS Project Microsoft SharePoint ServiceNow Smartsheet Clarity Planview MS Office).
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
