Installation Configurator Intern
Your main responsibilities
Schindler Elevator Corporation is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with a special project as we migrate data from a legacy platform to a new ERP tool which will be launched in early August. Students with a Mechanical Engineering background are preferred due to the nature of the data that will be migrated.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the Configurator to migrate orders from existing legacy system configurator to new system configurator after Go Live date.
- Bring over exact values for elevators and escalators into the newly implemented ERP system.
- Data involves Elevator and Escalator orders for our New Installation(NI) business line.
What you bring
- Must be currently enrolled student in an undergraduate bachelors degree program.
- Must live within reasonable commuting distance and have reliable transportation to commute to the US Headquarters in Morristown. Housing assistance is not provided.
- SAP experience preferred
- Engineering fundamentals
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Mechanical Engineer student preferred
