Job Description

Keville Enterprises Inc. an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm is seeking a full-time Construction Scheduler to join a rail-based program management team in Northern Virginia. Work is generally performed remote with the possibility of in-person meetings within DC Metro area. Duties: Responsibilities of the position include: The scheduler will be reviewing and analyzing contractor baseline schedules and monthly contractor update schedules making recommendations to mitigate delays and completing project status reports on rail and transit projects. Responsibilities also include development of design schedules as well as development and maintenance of program level master schedules. Duties will also include attending schedule-related meetings with program/project management teams to discuss schedule issues. The scheduler will be available to attend all progress meetings for assigned projects. Other responsibilities may include: Cash Flow Forecasting Integrated Master Schedule Development Critical Path Management and Reporting Resource & Cost Loaded Schedules and Progress Curve Development Look Ahead Schedules and Development of Monthly Status Reports.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering Construction Management or related field. PE CCM PSP or PMI certifications desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering Construction or Construction Management required with a focus on scheduling.
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Proficiency with software Primavera P6 is a must.
  • Rail and Transit / Heavy Construction / Highway / Bridge / Water experience is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in construction scheduling program scheduling and cost & resource loading required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in Adobe Acrobat MS Office Suite applications of Outlook Word and skilled at performing data evaluation formulas and metrics in Excel.
