Front Desk Clerk/Clinical Assistant
Front Desk Clerk/Clinical Assistant
Department: Specialty Clinic

Hourly PRN Role:
Hours will vary based on staffing needs

The Job You Will Perform:
- Serve as the liaison between the physician and patient
- Responsible for answering phones determining the nature/priority of the call and appropriate routing/taking messages
- Verify patient insurance benefits obtain and register accurate demographics and schedule patient appointments in the scheduling system
- Assign patients to exam rooms
The Qualifications Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:
- Uphold HIPPA in regard to patient information
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
- Computer literacy (MS Office Windows etc.)
- Experience using EPIC systems (preferred)
- Experience using iSalus systems (preferred)
- Prior medical receptionist experience (preferred)
