As a Business Manager within the Private Bank Operations team you will play a crucial role in optimising business performance and driving key initiatives. Your work will involve acting as a trusted adviser managing projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes. This role is vital in maintaining the exceptional standards our clients expect and supporting our global operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-level responsiveness to senior management ad-hoc requests related to project management presentation development and business analysis.
- Organise complex information strategically and compellingly demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Drive strategic priorities ensuring transparency and accountability through clear monitoring of OKRs and KPIs.
- Drive financial discipline partnering with Finance managers on monthly reviews and annual budgeting to align financials and strategic priorities.
- Partner with AWM location strategy overseeing global real estate needs tactical and strategic.
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps.
- Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks.
- Curate team activities and prepare materials for town halls employee recognition and strategy working sessions.
- Optimise workforce planning partnering with HR recruiting and Operations leads understanding capacity needs key risks and supporting metrics.
- Cultivate a control and governance mindset to assist with audit regulatory and compliance tasks; contribute to developing and implementing specific action plans as needed.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related area.
- Proven experience in Business Management or a COO role.
- Proactive mindset self-motivated tenacious and able to work with a high degree of independence.
- Excellent communication organisation and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Experience in a banking environment with a thorough understanding of risks and controls.
- Experience in generating high-quality PowerPoint documents.
- Transformation skills such as Python Alteryx etc. a plus.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups and drive the agenda.
