As the Manager Pricing - Retail Deposit Products you will contribute to the overall success of the Retail Deposits group in Canada ensuring specific individual goals plans and initiatives are executed in support of the teams business strategies and objectives. You will also ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
Manage the Deposits Exception Pricing Desk and the SmartBot tool supporting across the Canadian Retail Bank and Advisor Deposit Services channels
Promote a culture of partnership by working with the frontline in providing prompt and professional advice
Monitor track and provide key insights to the Pricing committee on exception trends and competitor offers
Assist in managing the GIC Early Redemption & Backdate Inbox to review the exception cases for redeeming non-redeemable GICs
Assist the pricing optimization and execution of the approved pricing changes across Retail Products and Advisor Deposit Services in a timely manner to provide positive client experiences preventing adverse impact to our P&L and ensuring no regulatory breaches
Recommend opportunities to improve our exception policy and increase operational efficiency by enhancing processes and tools
Support ad-hoc initiatives as they arise
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:
Post-secondary education in a related field
Previous experience working in Retail Banking and/or Wealth Management preferred with solid knowledge of GIC and Savings products and services including competitive products
Excellent communication interpersonal and networking skills
Good analytical and market research skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Comfortability working in a hybrid work environment
