Minimum Associates degree or equivalent required. ABA degree in social work psychology or related field is preferred. Holds required state department of education credentials (Minimum Ohio Educational Aide Permit).
Qualifications: Program leadership skills verified by training and/or work experience. Ability to develop and implement program improvements based on evaluated data and research-based best practices.
- Acts in accordance with the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the service centers service area.
- Displays flexibility reliability self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.

Essential Functions:
- Provides behavioral support services to students to assist in their motivation engagement participation and achievement.
- Works with educational teams to facilitate student success in educational environments.
- Reinforces appropriate skills with students.
- Uses strategies and techniques to deescalate behaviors.
- Develops a coherent strategy to accomplish concurrent responsibilities within required periods.
- Advocates for students. Facilitates inclusive educational opportunities for all students.
- Collaboratively resolves problems that impede student learning. Helps identify teaching techniques interventions and aligned resources best suited for each student.
- Provides one-on-one student supports within the educational environment. Initiates contact and collaborates with community resources to address student concerns.
- Encourages students to remain in school engaged and motivated.
- Works with staff to monitor intervention efficacy. Recommends modifications as needed.
- Helps students make appropriate choices and improve personal skills.
- Communicates with school district and other key agency personnel as necessary to ensure student success.
